C&C Insurance to Sponsor Lancashire Cricket Foundation Cup Final

Added on: August 27, 2025

We’re proud and excited in equal measure to be sponsoring the Lancashire Cricket Foundation Knock Out Cup Final, taking place on Sunday, 31st August at Blackpool Cricket Club.

This year’s final sees two of the county’s leading sides, Northern Cricket Club and Formby Cricket Club, competing for one of Lancashire’s most prestigious honours.

C&C Insurance has been a long-standing partner of the Lancashire Cricket Foundation, providing consistent support over many years. Our commitment has played a vital role in helping the Foundation achieve its objective of making cricket a game for everyone – accessible, inclusive, and thriving across all communities.

Malcolm Cooke, MD of C&C, says: “We’re proud to continue our partnership with the Lancashire Cricket Foundation. Supporting grassroots and community cricket is something we’re passionate about and are delighted to be associated with such a historic competition and showcase final.”

Speaking on the announcement, LCF Managing Director Jen Barden says: “We are hugely grateful to C&C Insurance for their continued support of cricket in Lancashire. Their sponsorship of this year’s Lancashire Knock Out Cup Final demonstrates their commitment to both the recreational and community game, and we look forward to a fantastic day of cricket at Blackpool.”

The Lancashire Knock Out Cup has a rich history as one of the premier club competitions in the county, and the 2025 final promises to be another exciting chapter in that story.

C&C is a huge and longstanding supporter of cricket at all levels, sponsoring grassroots clubs such as Romiley, Alderley Edge, and Beacon Cricket Club in the Midlands; all the way up to Championship sides such as Lancashire, Yorkshire and Surrey, with venues regularly used for Test Series. We also sponsor the County Cricket Championship Golf Day, which raises funds for the Cricketers’ Trust.

It’s fair to say that when it comes to supporting cricket, we’re an all-rounder!

We wish both sides the very best of luck on 31st August, but most importantly, we hope both enjoy their moment in the sun as finalists in this hard-fought tournament.
