Our Bristol office opened its doors in the Spring of 2024 and is ably led by Branch Director, Mark Boyd. Mark has almost 48 years’ experience in insurance and having spent most of his career based in and around the region, he’s one of the most experienced insurance brokers in Bristol. It’s fair to say that he knows the insurance scene across the Southwest like the back of his hand!
Just as we still regard C&C as a business run on family values – and that’s despite having a staff of over 150 – there is also something of a family flavour about the Bristol team. Mark’s wife, Trudy, heads up operations and their son James, is also an Account Executive.

The Bristol team works with clients from a wide variety of sectors such as transport, haulage & logistics, as well as the construction, food manufacturing and general commercial industries. And as with all other C&C branches, Credit Insurance is increasingly being sought by clients, as businesses seek to protect themselves from the potential impact of a failed supplier damaging cashflow.
C&C are one of the largest independent fleet insurance brokers in the country, which brings many benefits to our clients in terms of our buying power but also from the strength of our relationships with insurers. We work closely with a whole range of providers and can manage claims on behalf of clients, challenging when necessary, and following up, to ensure cases are handled efficiently.
We also understand that business owners and directors, increasingly want the reassurance of a personal relationship. They want a dependable insurance broker in Bristol who gives accurate and timely advice, who has their corner, and who has set up appropriate protection for all that is important and valued by the business and its stakeholders.
This is one of our USPs and strengths – we’re not a call centre! Making the client the centre of what we do, and getting to understand their businesses, their goals, and the challenges they face, is part of our DNA, regardless of location.
And if the worst happens, and a claim is required, clients know that they have somewhere to turn to and someone they can rely on, as the Bristol team has access to the C&C Claims Team to do the heavy lifting in managing that claim. Something not available to all insurance brokers in Bristol.
