We opened the doors to C&C Chester in April 2019, with Paul Trafford taking up the role of Director.
Paul brought a wealth of experience to the new venture. With 20 years in the commercial insurance sector, all based in the North Wales, Liverpool and Manchester regions, Paul was the right man in the right place to launch C&C Insurance Brokers in Chester. He knew the sector, knew the region and having seen C&C as a competitor for all those years, in his own words, he already knew, “Nobody did it better than C&C”. Growth has been rapid, most new business comes from referrals, and we have excellent retention rates. There are many insurance brokers in Chester, so what’s underpinning this success?

There are many reasons why we stand apart from other insurance brokers in Chester: it could be the risk management or in-house claims services we provide, or it could be the diverse range of business sectors we operate in. All bring a depth not always found with other insurance brokers. But with us, clients don’t just chase a price. They trust us to look out for their best interests. We look for the risks and help clients to manage them. We assess trends and clients value us most when we’re needed for a claim. Ultimately, we make ourselves available. We respond rapidly and take personal responsibility for our clients’ insurance welfare.
Paul and his team not only go the extra mile in getting results for their clients, they’re also passionate about supporting local causes. C&C Chester sponsors the Sedulo Foundation annual golf day which provides support for disadvantaged children within the region, as well as working with the Chester-based, Hospice of the Good Shepherd. Both causes make tangible differences to the local community, and the Chester team proactively and enthusiastically throw themselves into them.
