We understand the complex risks faced by the construction industry. From large-scale infrastructure projects to small residential builds, we provide bespoke construction insurance tailored to your needs, whether you’re a contractor, developer, or subcontractor.
As a trusted UK insurance broker, we work with leading insurers to deliver comprehensive cover and expert advice, ensuring your construction business is protected at every stage of your project.
Our clients include independent, regional and national organisations, who rely on us to help keep their staff, the public, directors, their assets, shareholders and their reputations, suitably protected. The needs of construction insurance can change as you grow or projects develop, and sometimes, time is of the essence when having to adapt existing cover.
And although a slowdown in the construction sector may impact insurers’ approach to underwriting, our longstanding relationships with insurers put us in a position of strength when negotiating on clients’ behalf.
We work closely with our construction insurance clients to ensure they have the right cover at a competitive price. We are NOT a call centre. Understanding your business – its challenges, goals, and culture – is key to ensuring that we have a well-rounded appreciation of your organisation, and we work hard to achieve that.
Our high client retention and referral rates are down to the value our clients place on the long-term relationships they build with our team, and the peace of mind that provides.

Construction Insurance Products We Offer:
Contractors All Risks (CAR) Insurance: protects buildings under construction, site materials, and temporary works against damage or loss due to fire, theft, flood, or accidental damage. Essential for ensuring project continuity and financial stability.
Professional Indemnity: essential for contractors offering design or consultancy services. Protects against claims of negligence, errors or omissions in professional advice or design. Ideal for Design & build contractors, Surveyors, Architects & Structural engineers.
Collateral Warranty Checks: when providing Professional Indemnity (PI) Insurance, we can also help ensure your Collateral Warranties align with your policy terms so you’re not inadvertently exposing your business to uninsured liabilities. A Collateral Warranty extends your duty of care to third parties such as funders, tenants, or purchasers.
Hired-in Plant Insurance: covers loss or damage to plant and machinery you’ve hired for your construction project. Includes excavators, cranes, access platforms, etc, theft, accidental damage, vandalism, and continuing hire charges cover.
Own Plant & Tools Insurance: protects your owned construction equipment, plant and tools against theft and damage, whether on-site, in transit or stored overnight.
Contract Works Insurance: often included in CAR policies, this protects against physical loss or damage to permanent or temporary works being carried out under a construction contract.
Legal Expenses Insurance: provides legal support and covers costs related to employment disputes, contract disputes, tax investigations, and more.
Latent Defects Insurance (Structural Warranty): also known as Structural Defects Insurance. Offers long-term cover against defects in the design, workmanship, or materials after completion of a construction project.
Performance Bonds: construction projects often require a financial guarantee that the contractor will complete the job as agreed. A Performance Bond is typically required by employers or funders to protect against contractor default or non-performance. It provides reassurance that the project will be completed on time, to specification or that financial compensation will be provided.
Directors and Officers Liability: reimburses the costs incurred by board members, managers, and employees in defending against claims made by shareholders or third parties for alleged wrongdoing.
Motor Fleet: groups many vehicles (vans, trucks, minibuses, HGVs and cars) under one policy, with a single renewal date for convenience.
Buildings & Contents: reinstatement of either can be considerably more expensive than in previous years, and underinsurance could result in only a partial payout in the event of a claim.
Business Interruption: can protect against loss of income due to an unexpected event, such as fire, flood or some other unforeseen circumstances, including the supply of goods or services.
Public Liability: covers you if you or your employees are liable for injury to customers or the public, or for damaging their property as a result of your business activities.
Employers’ Liability: legally required if you employ staff. Covers your business in the event an employee is injured or becomes ill due to work-related activities. Protects against claims from permanent and temporary staff, labour-only subcontractors, and apprentices.
Environmental Impairment Liability: provides coverage for loss or damages resulting from unexpected releases of pollutants, typically excluded in general liability and property insurance policies.
Cyber: covers the losses relating to damage or loss of information from IT systems and networks from an unauthorised IT system access, electronic attack, or privacy breach.
Credit Insurance: covers against the risk of businesses not being paid for goods or services that they sell or buy (if on a pro forma).
Healthcare: cover could include private medical insurance for individuals or groups, income protection, life assurance, critical illness or key person protection.

At the risk of repeating ourselves, we’re NOT a call centre! We invest in understanding our clients, their business, and the specific markets they operate in. This consistency of contact means clients avoid the all-too-familiar, starting at square one feeling when it comes to renewals or initiating a claim, which helps explain our 97.7% Client Retention rate!
