Chester Branch Director Faces Jail Time For Charity

Added on: March 8, 2024

In days gone by, Chester was notorious for its criminal trials and harshly run prison where naughty boys and girls ended up. Well, it appears our very own Traff has been a naughty boy. So naughty in fact, that he was recently charged on some trumped-up claims from Anita and Alex (his words, not theirs) and will be doing time on 14th March.

Our man in the dock stands accused of six crimes and is charged with the following:
1. Motivational speeches that turn into Dad jokes
2. Addiction to caffeine
3. Crimes against fashion with a completely different outfit every time he’s seen
4. Pre-emptive crime because he wears shorts all summer
5. Crimes of a technophobic nature – designating all IT tasks to younger colleagues
6. Sloping off at the Christmas do, leaving his staff to do the drinking!

Some seem harsh but the most heinous is the last one! Simply unforgivable!

In fairness to Traff, it’s all in a good cause… Lock Up Your Boss day is all about raising funds for Chester-based, Hospice of The Good Shepherd, which the team supports on an ongoing basis. His fundraising page is here: https://www.justgiving.com/page/paul-trafford-1708953629602

Please contribute what you can to help him raise £500 – enough so that he can hopefully make bail. That said, he’ll be appearing in court, in the Town Hall; pleading his case in front of a Judge whose reputation precedes him. He’s not known as Judge Chokey for nothing. He’s got form for increasing bail for arguing, whining, turning up, rolling your eyeballs and even breathing in a disrespectful manner…

The bookies have Traff odds-on for doing a porridge stretch in a cell, underneath the Town Hall, to reflect on his crimes. But… he will have his phone to plead with the outside world to keep raising funds to whatever inevitable new level Judge Chokey sets. If Traff’s name flashes up on your phone on March 14th – please be kind… and generous!

Massive thanks to everyone who has supported our Chester BD so far – a man of previously impeccable character!
