For the second year running, C&C have impressed the judges, and been shortlisted in the £5m+ Turnover category at the Stockport Business Awards! The awards are an opportunity for businesses across the region to shine a light on their achievements, and to showcase their progress, aspirations and how much they contribute to the region’s success.
The judges recognised and valued that we are a home-grown Stockport company, which, now in our 50th year, started from scratch. When Malc joined in the late 80s, the business operated from a back bedroom! We now have 155 staff, 8 offices, multiple specialist divisions, are a top 50 independent broker, regularly win industry awards, and our culture and client-centric approach single us out as an attractive place to work.
Malc says: “It’s a real honour to be recognised by the judges once again. We’re massive advocates of Stockport. We’ve long been associated with Stockport County, support The Wellspring with their insurance, sponsor local rugby and cricket clubs, have been a member of Marketing Stockport since its first year, support local causes, and work with scores of local businesses either as clients, suppliers, or quite often, both. Although we have a presence all over the UK, we’re still proud to say we’re a Stockport-based company, so we’re delighted to be in the final three at this year’s awards.”
Ours is a hotly contested category at the Stockport Business Awards, given that there are 100s of well-established, well-run, successful, large businesses across the region.
