What a way to kick off the new year! Our brilliant in-house Claims Handling Team has been recognised as one of the very best in the country, securing a place as a finalist at the Modern Claims Awards. Shortlisted back in December, the team has now gone one step further and been named one of just three finalists in the highly competitive Broker of the Year category – an incredible achievement.
The Modern Claims Awards celebrate excellence across the entire claims ecosystem and are hosted by industry-leading publication Modern Insurance Magazine. With fierce competition and a huge number of high-quality entries, making it to the final three is no small feat.
Steve Lockey, Claims Director, says: “This is a real honour and a fantastic achievement by the team. We hear time and time again how much clients value our Claims Handling Team, their dedication, tenacity and determination to get results. We’ve always known we were doing something right, but external industry recognition like this is hugely rewarding. Simply reaching this stage is something we should all be immensely proud of.”
The statistics speak for themselves. The team handles over 7,000 claims every year and draws on more than 200 years of combined C&C exclusive experience over a team of 25 dedicated professionals. All focused on protecting clients when it matters most – during the stress and upheaval of managing many multiple claims simultaneously.
Claims Manager Joe Fay adds: “The whole team is absolutely buzzing. Being named finalists amongst so many strong entries means a great deal to us. We firmly believe claims are the true starting point of renewals, and our focus on protecting clients and managing claims proactively plays a huge part in our 97.7% client retention rate. Most of all, I’m delighted for the team; this recognition is thoroughly deserved.”
The black-tie awards ceremony takes place on Thursday, 26th February at the Rum Warehouse, Liverpool. We’ll be there in force, celebrating what’s already a fantastic achievement… and with fingers firmly crossed, we’ll claim the silverware!
