C&C Are Key Ingredient At 2025 Restaurant Association Awards

Last Monday (3rd November), once again, C&C had the pleasure of serving up excellence as a Gold sponsor at the 2025 Restaurant Association Awards and Gala Dinner, which took place in the grand surroundings of The Savoy Hotel, in London.

The prestigious Gala Dinner is a highlight of the year for the hospitality industry, bringing together leading figures to celebrate excellence, innovation, and achievement within the sector.

The event was hosted by Restaurant Association President, Robert Walton MBE, who, along with his wife Donna, own Langdon Manor Court, a country house event venue in Devon. Robert is our client, and we’re always keen to support the awards.

We were well represented with the C&C team being joined by guests and friends, including award nominee, Rosie Maguire from Manchester restaurant, Higher Ground.

As Gold sponsor, Malc was also invited to the stage to present the hotly-contested Chef of the Year award to Michelin-starred Lisa Goodwin-Allen, Executive Chef at Northcote Manor. Northcote is nestled in the heart of the Ribble Valley, not a million miles away from our own heartland, so it felt rather fitting for Malc to have the honour of doing the presenting.

The Fabergé Legend Award was presented to Heston Blumenthal OBE, for a lifetime of creativity, innovation and global influence in British gastronomy.

“The Restaurant Association Awards are always a brilliant occasion and a great way to connect the C&C name with some of the leading lights of the restaurant and hospitality scene,” said Malc. “It’s a growing area for us, particularly in the south, and one we’re really keen to keep building on, in light of our recently opened Mayfair office. The setting at The Savoy was every bit as impressive as you’d expect – a beautiful room, impeccable service, and incredible food. Huge thanks to Robert for the warm welcome and for inviting us to play such a key role on such a special night.”

It wasn’t Malc’s first visit to the RA Awards stage. Last year, he had the pleasure of presenting the Service Excellence award to Rob Rose.

Robert is often referred to as The Godfather of Hospitality and was instrumental in reviving the Restaurant Association Awards in recent years. He has also served as an ambassador for the Great Britain & Northern Ireland campaign to promote the UK hospitality sector internationally.

It’s no coincidence, then, that someone who sets such a high bar for service chose C&C as his preferred insurance partner!
