Best of luck to Sale Sharks in their semi-final against Bath, this Saturday!
What a finale to the season! A season that’s had its ups and downs, twists and turns – it was certainly never a given that we’d get here. But here we are, finishing third and playing second-place Bath for a place in the Premiership final against either Northampton Saints or last year’s champions, Saracens.
The match is being played at The Recreation Ground – Bath’s home turf, but C&C will be well represented at the game, ably led by someone who isn’t short of hosting experience in this environment – our MD, Malcolm Cooke!
Malc says: “What a phenomenal, phenomenal achievement for Sale Sharks to reach the semi-finals, on the bounce! At one point, it looked like a remote possibility, but massive congratulations to all the players, coaches and support staff for maintaining belief, putting in the work and giving us fans something to really look forward to. Naturally, we want Sale to be lining up at Twickers next week, but win or lose on Saturday, thank you to everyone involved at Sale for giving us the chance to be entertained one last time this season, before the final.”
Enjoy the southern hospitality, Malc! And if we’re talking about hospitality, the AJ Bell Stadium – home of the Sharks, is also home of the C&C Hospitality Suite. If you haven’t been, try it out. The catering is top-drawer, the service is impeccable, the hosting and opportunity to meet players creates a fantastic, inclusive, entertaining atmosphere, and of course, the views of the pitch are spectacular! It’s a great value opportunity to enhance your matchday experience with friends and family or to entertain clients.
And speaking of entertaining clients, C&C Chester recently hosted some of theirs in our suite, whilst watching Sale (beat!) Harlequins. Branch Director, Paul Trafford took the helm that day, along with a film crew, to capture some of the atmosphere of the matchday hospitality experience in the C&C Hospitality Suite.

In the meantime, the Sharks are circling…
