Our Scotland office, ably led by Lauren Kerr, is two years old this month and what a busy time it’s been for them! Towards the end of last year, they moved into dedicated premises based in Eskdale House, on the Crichton Estate in Dumfries. That said, it was only recently that the signage was completed and installed, which really does add the finishing touch to their new home.
Lauren says, “We’re thrilled to have our own space and to be able to share our presence here with the wider community. It’s a beautiful building with a rural feel and there’s space flexibility too, which fits in with our plans. Sheena and I couldn’t be happier with the location.”
And on that, you won’t be surprised to hear that between Lauren and Sheena, business is growing significantly. They’re hoping that two will soon become three, as they search for a Commercial Account Executive to join them. (Take a look at the Careers page for more information.)
The Scotland office has also been busy forging links with the local community and has recently become a sponsor of the local football club, Annan Athletic. Braving the wind and low temperatures, Lauren was delighted to attend a recent midweek game to present the team with 37 thermal C&C branded, coaching jackets. There are multiple age groups within the football club, which in itself, is very active in the local community, through its charitable arm, The Black & Gold Foundation.
At the time of going to print, Annan Athletic are sitting in a respectable third position in Scottish League Division Two. We wish the team at Annan the very best of luck (and warmth) for the rest of the season, and a very happy second anniversary to our very own #TeamScotland!
