We’re rounding the year off on a high with the creation of a new division within the business, targeting commercial property insurance. The division – C&C Real Estate, is being led by our own Jayne Wilson.
Although we have been advising and providing a brokerage service for commercial property insurance for many years, we’re now looking to expand our presence within the sector, by offering a more consultative approach to property developers, landlords and managing agents.
Jayne has been with us for five years and has built an extensive network of contacts across, what is ultimately a very tight-knit community. She is affectionately known amongst many in the sector as ‘the property lady’ and will take the trust and rapport she’s already built, to grow the C&C Real Estate book by increasing the reach of the model she’s already developed.
Jayne Wilson, Real Estate Manager says: “We know from experience that although landlords need to ensure they’re not paying over the odds for their cover, they also need to ensure the correct level of cover. And in the current climate of rapidly escalating rebuild costs, this is becoming increasingly critical. We also understand the criteria and language lenders use when commercial property is first purchased or refinanced, so can ease the whole process of securing the correct level and type of commercial property insurance a landlord requires.”
One of the first goals of C&C Real Estate is to work with an insurer to create an exclusive proposition for our property developer clients – something that is bespoke to the needs Jayne hears about on a weekly basis. C&C Real Estate will also be creating a series of exclusive seminar events whereby experts within the commercial property sector will be sharing industry insights and pitfalls to avoid.
Malcolm Cook, MD of C&C Insurance Brokers says: “We’re delighted that Jayne will be heading up C&C Real Estate. Strictly speaking, although it’s a new division, it’s actually more a recognition of the work we’ve been doing for years with a fantastic and growing range of loyal clients. However, by offering a more consultative approach and added value, we’re looking to grow our presence in the sector.”
Within the next few months, C&C Real Estate will be based out of our soon to be established, Manchester city-centre hub, enabling even greater opportunities to meet and advise clients within the commercial property sector.
