It’s exciting times at C&C Scotland! We recently shared about taking on Lynsey Paris – The Golf Lady of the golf club insurance world, and potentially the headcount may be growing yet again in the near future! We’ll keep you posted on that one. But we’re also proud to announce that we’ve extended our relationship…
We’re delighted to unveil the latest signing for the C&C team as Lynsey Paris joined us as an Account Executive at the beginning of January. Lynsey will be working out of our Dumfries office and joins us from Marsh. Before that, she spent over 13 years at Circle Golf – a bespoke broker specialising in…
C&C Insurance Brokers Chester continued its support of local causes, when Anita Jones recently attended the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, to collect a Christmas bauble on behalf of C&C. The bauble was presented by Alan Knell, Philanthropy and Relationship Manager at the hospice, following C&C Chester joining their 100 Club. The 100 Club is…
Just in case you’ve been sleeping under a rock these last few weeks, property owners need to be alert to a very real threat. Apparently, at this time of year, a man, described as being very large, unshaven, of indeterminable northern origin, often smelling of alcohol, (yet also seen operating a vehicle), appears to be…
Sheila Jones heads up our Risk Management department and having been with us for 19 years, is one of the longest-serving members of the C&C family. And even then, Sheila joined us having spent a number of years with AVIVA (and its previous incarnations), and the briefest of spells as a Lloyds broker. It’s fair…
The C&C Leeds team has just hit the five-year milestone! The Yorkshire-based office is set in the heart of God’s Own Country and opened its doors in the autumn of 2018 when Tom O’Connell became Branch Director. And who better to reflect on the five-year journey so far, than the BD himself? Over to you…
The value of Credit Insurance was thrust into the spotlight recently when we helped a client avoid being dragged into the abyss through no fault of their own. Our client, who supplies ready mixed concrete, unfortunately, suffered a bad debt of £169k and reported it to us on the 10th of October. About two weeks…
Phase 2 of the refurbishment of our Stockport headquarters has now been completed, with the team already using the space! It really is an incredible transformation. You can see from the image, the progress that has been made in replicating the contemporary style of the upstairs hub. Once again there are a mix of space…
Third parties falsely claiming others are at fault can seriously drive insurance premiums for everyone and damage the risk management and claims reputation for all fleet operators, in addition to transport, haulage and logistics firms. And who in the fleet operating business hasn’t had a changing lanes scenario whereby each side says the other moved…
Last Thursday evening, we had the immense pleasure of celebrating the career of cricketing legend, David Gower OBE at Emirates Old Trafford. David is one of England cricket’s finest captains and players and arguably one of the most stylish left-handed batsmen of this era. He played 117 Test matches and 114 One Day Internationals (ODI)…
Insurance claims can fill clients with trepidation. At C&C, we have a team of 18 dedicated claims staff who all place a huge emphasis on client service. Such a sizable Claims Team is a real stand-out benefit for clients, which in turn leads to great client retention. We recently caught up with Joe Fay in…
Last Thursday we had the pleasure of attending the Stockport Business Awards held at Edgeley Park, the home of Stockport County FC. The awards promote the best of the best amongst local businesses and it was fantastic to see our thriving business community converge to celebrate the area’s collective business achievements. Our host for the…
