Lauren Kerr is the Branch Director and having been in the insurance business since 2002, is experienced across multiple sectors such as transport, haulage and logistics, general commercial, SME, and agriculture. Lauren comes from a haulage background; she also has a brother who runs a haulage firm and another who runs a farm, so she can completely relate to the unique challenges of these sectors.

Our Dumfries office is also highly specialist in providing cover for any membership club such as golf, tennis, bowls, rugby, rowing, yachting, boxing, leisure & fitness and private dining clubs.
Paul and his team not only go the extra mile in getting results for their clients, they’re also passionate about supporting local causes. C&C Chester sponsors the Sedulo Foundation annual golf day which provides support for disadvantaged children within the region, as well as working with the Chester-based, Hospice of the Good Shepherd. Both causes make tangible differences to the local community, and the Chester team proactively and enthusiastically throw themselves into them.
Credit Insurance is also increasingly being sought, as protection against the impact of a challenging economy, with unprecedented levels of enquiries being received over recent years.
Clients are assigned a personal broker (we’re not a call centre!) who takes the time to get to know a client’s business and to really understand their challenges. This can often include visiting client premises, reviewing management information and assessing patterns in claims history.
And when it comes to claims, one of the reasons our clients value us so much is because of our in-house Claims Team – something not every insurance broker in Scotland can offer. Our highly experienced team can handle most aspects of a claim on our clients’ behalf. Which, if ever called upon, can feel like a luxury compared to having to handle a claim, especially multiple claims, on their own.
We also have a Risk Management team who can assist with assessment and act as the competent resource on behalf of clients which is always looked on favourably by insurers.
In addition to being passionate about being independent, as an insurance broker in Scotland, we’re also passionate about building relationships with the local community. We’re keen supporters of Scottish League One Annan Athletic FC and sponsor the first-team training jackets and gillets, which are also worn when travelling to away matches, as well as the coaches’ coats.
